With a heritage rich in music, Lorie Sikes continues to carry a deep
confiction to reach others through her talents. Lorie traveled with
her parents, from an early age, which afforded her the opportunity to
learn and play mutiple instruments. At the age of 10 Lorie's dad
bought her first bass. Drums being her "firstlove" the bass was a
natural transition. After her family retired from touring, Lorie
continued to do studio work, and play in the local church. In 2002
Lorie, and husband David Sikes, (sound engineer) were approached to
work with The Crabb Family. After 5 years and the disbandment of The
Crabb Family, they both continue to travel with Jason Crabb. With
church being a major influence in her music, the passion and solidity
with which she plays always shines. |
